Our surgeons, hospitals, and clinics are all in South Africa. We specifically chose South Africa because its surgeons and consultants - many of whom are internationally qualified - are highly skilled; the hospitals and our clinic are modern, well-equipped and impeccably clean and hygienic; and the nursing care is excellent. And - crucial when discussing medical problems and surgical procedures - there are no communication difficulties since the main language of South Africa is English.

Additionally, the currency exchange makes private surgical procedures, dental surgery and treatment for addiction and eating disorders far cheaper than in Britain. The flying time is also comparatively short, the time difference is minimal and the country is extremely beautiful.

After careful deliberation, we finally settled on Durban as our primary centre, because it fulfils all our medical requirements and because it’s also one of the safest areas of South Africa. However, some surgeons work in hospitals just outside Durban and the clinic treating addictions, eating disorders and depression is set in the mountains of KwaZulu Natal.

For recuperation and holiday options, KwaZulu Natal offers beautiful beaches on the warm Indian Ocean, the fantastic scenery of the stunning Drakensberg Mountains, the haunting battlefield sites of the Anglo-Zulu War and the exciting game reserves of the province which are all within easy reach of Durban. Plus - the climate is wonderful all year-round.
